Mary K. (Kemper) Zircher,
Age 75, of McClure Road, Sidney, passed away of natural causes Tuesday evening, May 18, 2021, at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Mary was born April 24, 1946, in Celina, Ohio to the late Louis & Alvina (Flaute) Kemper. On April 19, 1965, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster, she married Ralph C. Zircher who survives. Also surviving are three children, Patricia “Patty” & Steven Karr of Ann Arbor, MI, Jacob “Jack” Zircher of Minster and Christina “Chris” & Martin Menosky of Logan along with six grandchildren: Nathan and Adam Karr, Caitlin, Connor, Caroline and Clayton Menosky; sisters & brothers-in-law: Theresa Kemper of Minster, Rita & Donald Buehler of Oak Harbor and Theresia & Ronald Rosengarten of Anna as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Kemper.
Mary retired from Emerson/Copeland in Sidney. Over the years, she also worked at Gilardi’s, Roettgers Hardwood in Kettlersville, Dorothy Love and the Minster Canning Factory. She was a 1964 graduate of Minster High School and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she had been a past CCD teacher. She was a past Anna Rescue EMT. She had also been an active community volunteer, especially in the Anna area, and she provided charitable support for many organizations. Mary was dedicated to her family. She loved to cook, collect recipes and solve puzzles. She enjoyed listening to music of any genre and nature, especially watching animals frolic and colorful sunsets.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Monday, May 24, 2021, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in McCartyville with Rev. Sean Wilson presiding. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie and Monday 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church gathering room. Use of face masks are encouraged at all funeral rites. Memorials may be made to Charities of Choice. Private condolences may be expressed at www.gehretfuneralhome.com.
