Mary Jane (Paulus) Voskuhl,

Age 80, of Rangeline Road, Russia, passed away of natural causes Wednesday evening, March 19, 2025, at the Wilson Health Hospital in Sidney, Ohio.  She was born November 4, 1944, in Russia, Ohio, to the late Stephen “Bun” & Ruth (Barga) Paulus.  She was married to Robert E. Rosenbeck who preceded her in death on December 11, 1969.  Mary is survived by her Dear Companion, Robert “Bob” Snyder of Russia; two daughters, Sharon & Steve DeWeese of Fort Loramie and Stephenie Voskuhl of Huber Heights; four grandchildren: Bryon Jackson, Craig & Meghan Voskuhl, Adam DeWeese and Morgan DeWeese along with four great-grandchildren: Madison Voskuhl, Jeremiah, Sophia and Lillian Taylor; one brother-in-law, Alan Bachman of Houston and a sister-in-law, Betty Paulus of Russia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by eleven siblings: Marion & Marge Paulus, Norman & Laura Paulus, Agnes & Harold Dershem, Rosetta & Jerry Protsman, Rita Bachman, Margaret & Dwight Puthoff, Jerome Paulus, Pearl Paulus, Joe & Alice Paulus, Donald Paulus and William Paulus.

Mary attended Houston Schools and St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia.  She had been a homemaker, dedicated to her family and farm life.  Over the years, she also worked at various local factories.  Years ago, Mary worked with Shelby County Social Services as a long-time foster parent.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with her family and grandchildren.  Mary was always helping somebody with something.

A 7:00 PM memorial blessing service will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Deacon Paul Timmerman presiding.  Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  A private Interment service will take place Wednesday at Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Memorials may be made to the Russia Volunteer Fire Department.  Private condolences may be expressed at the gehretfuneralhome.com website.
