Gary Lee Frilling,
Age 59, of St. Rt. 119 West, Anna, Ohio, passed away of natural causes at his residence early Tuesday morning, May 24, 2022. He was born January 28, 1963, in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Harold and Bernice (Hemmelgarn) Frilling. On June 10, 1988, at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia, Gary married Brenda (Wendeln) Frilling who survives. Also surviving are seven siblings: Steve & Marlene Frilling of Fort Loramie, Cheryl & Bob Kuck of New Bremen, Cindy & Jeff Replogle of Houston, Sue & Bill Hoying of Fort Loramie, Doris & Paul Monnier of Houston, Randy & Greta Frilling of Fort Loramie and Alan & Alison Frilling of Fort Loramie; mother-in-law, Irma Wendeln of Sidney, sisters & brothers-in-law: Diane & Jeff Cummins of Ludlow Falls and Sandra & Jim Dembski of Sidney as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Leo Wendeln.
Mr. Frilling was a 1981 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. He proudly owned and operated Frilling Insurance as a Nationwide Insurance Agent for over 25 years before retiring in 2008.
Gary was a devoted husband. He also loved his loyal Schnauzers. One-by-one over the years, seven will be waiting for him at heaven’s gate. He leaves behind Samie & Spencer who will miss him dearly along with the car rides, ice cream cones and training sessions.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie with Steven Shoup presiding. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati, P.O.
