Aaron E. Pollock
August 27, 1977 - March 14, 2025
Aaron Everett Pollock, 47, of Hughes Road, Houston, Ohio, passed away at his home on the evening of Friday, March 14, 2025.
Born on August 27, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Aaron was the beloved son of George and Marilyn (Rees) Pollock of Meadowview, VA. On August 24, 2002, he married the love of his life, Ronna (Heilers) Pollock, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Newport.
Aaron was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. His greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his wife, Ronna, and their four children—Brandon, serving in the U.S. Air Force; Justin, attending ONU College of Pharmacy; Anthony, a senior at Houston High School; and Elizabeth, attending Houston High School. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Heather & Joe Imel of Geneva, IN; Sarah & Joshua Watkins of Troy, OH; Sandra & Brad Webber of Meadowview, VA; and Andrew Pollock of Meadowview, VA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob. He is also remembered by his father-in-law, Ronald Heilers of Houston; brothers-in-law, Levi & Mary Heilers of Cardington and Aaron & Sarah Heilers of Anna; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Barbara Heilers.
A 1996 graduate of Newton High School in Pleasant Hill, Aaron pursued mechanical engineering studies at Sinclair Community College in Dayton. He built a career as a mechanical designer at Stolle Machinery in Sidney.
Aaron’s life was filled with moments of joy. He coached his children’s soccer teams, cheering them on in their sports and 4H activities, and shared a passion for fitness with Ronna. Having grown up in a family that loved open-wheel and go-kart racing, he never lost his enthusiasm for the sport and enjoyed every moment spent working on engines.
A memorial blessing service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie with Deacon Paul Timmerman presiding. Family and friends are invited to gather from 3:00 to 7:00 PM that day to remember Aaron, share stories, and honor his life. A private interment in Meadowview, VA, will take place at a later date. In honor of Aaron, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice. Messages of sympathy may be shared at gehretfuneralhome.com.
